Xerox WorkCentre 7300 series systems hit speeds up to 45 pages per minute
with advanced document management capabilities and cost-effective color
Dubai, UAE – 5 November 2007– Xerox Middle East & Africa is helping businesses maximize workers’ efforts with new WorkCentre® advanced multifunction systems, products that give organizations new opportunities to produce high-end color prints, as well as everyday business documents efficiently and cost effectively.
The new WorkCentre 7300 series print and copy at speeds ranging from 26 to 35 pages per minute color and 28 to 45 ppm black-and-white. The systems also scan and fax, and include new tools to integrate and improve workflows and manage color costs. For example, onboard mailboxes and routing capabilities let users store commonly used documents, such as standard forms and brochures, for easy retrieval and printing directly from the device. In addition, customers can manage color costs with easy-to-use access control features.

The new WorkCentre systems offer Xerox’s advanced security features to protect the document, the device and the transmission path. An Encrypted Disk and Image Overwrite feature deletes images from the hard drive automatically upon job completion or on demand. Made standard in all Xerox multifunction systems in 2006, this feature helps customers protect confidential information that flows through the device.
The WorkCentre 7328, 7335 and 7345 color multifunction systems are designed for small to mid-sized businesses or enterprise workgroups. In addition to the mailbox and workflow features, users can store scanned documents in multiple formats, including the new Microsoft XPS format and searchable PDFs. Documents scanned directly into a PDF format can be searched by their content, forwarded via e-mail, and stored on a PC, the Web or in a document management system. Scanned documents that are routed to e-mail or a repository are automatically encrypted, and remain so until unencrypted by the authorized recipient. In addition, the products include Xerox Standard Accounting, a feature that enables businesses to track usage, set limits for each user and manage costs. The WorkCentre 7300 products represent the first implementation of Xerox’s Extensible Interface Platform on a color multifunction system.
