New Year brings new shows to Global Village

It is only the beginning of the year, and yet, Global Village, the region’s entertainment, shopping, and cultural attraction located in Dubailand, has already prepared an exciting itinerary of cultural shows set to dazzle visitors. In almost every corner of the park, talented performers from various parts of the world are providing exceptional entertainment for families.

As park goers approach the food court, they will find dancers from the USA performing the American Country Dance and French dancers showcasing a traditional Parisian dance on the World Culture Stage. They will also be delighted with a mystical performance of the Egyptian Tanoura dance art.

By the Global Village Lake, guests will discover the Chinese Flying Pole Show, a modern-day take on China’s century-old pole stunts. The African Acrobats, on the other hand, will also prove to be crowd-pullers. Then, there are the Street Musician, Local Band and the Kerala Drumming that provide traditional music to the park. Whereas, the street fire show creates a bright and comic spectacle to the thrilled audience.

Visitors will be delighted as well to witness the different shows happening at the pavilions. There are cultural performances in Lebanon Pavilion, Palestinian Pavilion, India Pavilion, Egypt Pavilion, Thailand Pavilion, Pakistan Pavilion, Yemen Pavilion, UAE Pavilion, China Pavilion and West Africa Pavilion`.  

Etisalat is the official partner of the 14th edition of Global Village. Doors open at 4pm in the afternoon until midnight except on Thursdays and Fridays when it is extended until 1am in the morning. Mondays are allotted for families only. Tickets are priced at AED 10 each. For the disabled and kids below three years old, entrance is free.
