Nexsan Technologies, a leader in energy saving storage solutions, has announced that its Assureon secure archive appliance has won the ‘Storage Product of the Year’ at the inaugural DM Awards held earlier this year in London, UK. Assureon was also awarded runner-up in the ‘Compliance Product of the Year’ category. The award coincided with Nexsan’s participation at Storage Expo UK, the only dedicated data storage event in the UK that provides visitors with the opportunity to compare the most comprehensive range of data storage solutions from all the leading suppliers, where it showcased its industry leading AutoMAID™ energy efficient storage solutions.
The DM Awards were organized by BTC Publications and provide industry-wide recognition to individuals and organisations at the forefront of technology and innovation in the Document and Content Management industry. With awards for software and hardware products, as well as for successful projects in the public and private sectors, the DM Awards managed to cover all the bases and thus attract luminaries from right across the industry. Winners – which included leading companies like Microsoft, EMC, ITESOFT, DICOM and Nexsan - were chosen by the readership of Document Manager Magazine.
