Nine members of al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front were killed in a US-led coalition airstrike Sunday, AFP reported, in eastern Syria near the Turkish border.
Four of the casualties were foreigners, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
AFP said the Nusra Front headquarters were spread across three buildings, all of which were demolished only a kilometer away from the town center.
The coalition has recently been targeting Nusra Front militants. The group's military leader Abu Hammam al-Shami and some other liuetenants were reportedly killed last week in northern province of Idlib during a coalition raid.
