Nissan Middle East and Alhamrani United Company, exclusive dealer of Nissan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supported the Janadriyah Festival that was held during the second half of February. Among many activities and attractions Nissan displayed its pick ups and largest range of SUVs in the region and offered them for test drives on a specially designed track.
Nissan was present through various locations in Janadriya’s halls, outdoor spaces and camel race track. The presence was in several forms including a majlis, a heritage gallery, line up displays and on road and off-road test drive specially-designed tracks, in addition to various interactive activities for children and adults.
Khalid Abdullah Al Harthy, the Marketing Communication Director of Alhamrani United Company, pointed to a positive partnership with one of the most sought- after events in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region equally. “Covering a gross exhibition of over 800 square meters, the heritage-like designed stand displayed the Saudis-most devoted to desert-akin 2007 vehicles such as Armada, Murano, Patrol, Pathfinder, and Pick Ups.” he said.
Through its sponsorship Alhamrani United Company was not just a financial partner but rather a main catalyst of attractive events throughout the Festival. The events included a poetry competition which gathered more than 1500 entries among which the winners were awarded in a special ceremony. Other activities included drawing and coloring competitions for children, and safety tips competitions on the ladies days.
The main attraction of Nissan’s participation was the test drive activity. The 90 X 90 square meter ring accommodated 5 Nissan pick ups supervised by specialized marshals and aimed to demonstrate the stance and power of Nissan modern vehicles. More than 3000 test drives were conducted through the festival, with safety marshals regulating the activity and Nissan representatives answering inquires and giving driving tips.
“We are very pleased with our partnership with the National Guard in this cultural festival, where Nissan was able to pay tribute to the community and enjoy its belonging and heritage in the Kingdom. We look forward to extending this partnership into long lasting activities aiming to entertain and educate the people on safe driving”, concluded Al Harthy.
