Nissan has announced that its “Turn your Nissan Patrol Mileage to Cash” promotion has received tremendous response from Patrol owners across the region.

The promotion, which started on 15 January, has attracted several editions of the Nissan Patrol, part of the largest SUV line-up in the region, spanning as far back as the 1957, being the 6th generation of Patrol.

Since the Nissan Patrol has a long heritage and a special emotional link to the citizens of the region, the Nissan Patrol mileage promotion is a token of appreciation to the different generations of Patrol owners. The 3 categories feature Patrol vehicles between 2-5 years old, 5-10 years old and over 10 years old. Special rewards will be handed over to Patrol owners with the highest mileage per category; Patrol owners can participate through ballots available across showrooms, entry forms in newspapers or through the website located at www.nissan-me.com till February 15th 2007.

“We are really pleased with the response we’ve received so far, several Nissan Patrol owners have expressed great delight at the promotion, getting the opportunity to share their Nissan Patrol experiences with several other owners” said Tariq Danish, SUV Brand Manager at Nissan Middle East. “The oldest Patrol in the region dates back to 1957 and is still in pristine condition. We’re not surprised that the old Patrols are still in great working order, after all, Nissan Patrol was made for long life durability and this is what this campaign is all about” continued Danish.

The 2007 Nissan Patrol with enhanced and sophisticated features is currently on sale throughout the GCC, and has secured record sales in November 2006, cementing its position as a premium all-terrain vehicle in GCC markets.
