Nokia announced the opening of its four specialized Nokia Care centres across the UAE to reflect Nokia’s strategy of getting closer to its consumers and providing them with unique after-sale services exclusive to Nokia consumers.

The launch of Nokia Care centres in the UAE comes as part of the company's decision to streamline its business and centralize the care activities to be fully controlled by Nokia. Previously, after-sales services were conducted by a number of authorized service partners who were selling and repairing multiple mobile brands.  The reorganisation of the operations of Nokia Care increases efficiency of the services offered to Nokia mobile users and helps improve their satisfaction as consumers gain more trust in the products and services they purchase, and guarantee that their devices will be repaired by highly skilled teams.

"As part of the growth strategy in the Middle East, we have been investing in the care service and improving its structure to better serve our consumers. The launch of Nokia Care in the UAE supports Nokia's expansion from being a mobile device manufacturer to a services company that seeks to come closer to its consumers and directly interact with them in a unique Nokia environment," said Najib Abi-Abdallah, Head of Care, Nokia, Lower Gulf.

The UAE is amongst the first markets in the Middle East that witnesses the implementation of this new model that Nokia follows in Europe and other markets globally. Nokia Care centres promise consumers improved services with fast repair of Nokia products. The first four Care Centers to open are located in different parts of the UAE including Sheikh Zayed Road and Bur Dubai in Dubai, at Rolla in Sharjah and Hazaa Bin Zayed Street in Abu Dhabi, with more locations to be rolled out.

Abi-Abdallah added, “The opening of Nokia Care coupled with Nokia’s 12 month warranty gives consumers a complete care solution.  All Nokia Care centres members are highly trained to provide consumers with technical advice on how to safeguard their data and mobile devices in addition to giving them guidance on how to make use of the latest features on their mobile devices that they might not be aware of.”
