The number of people holding Visa International credit cards in the UAE is likely to reach one million by the end of 2001, reported the Gulf News on Sunday, quoting an official at the company.
Jonathan Cabedo, deputy general manager of Visa International, was speaking at the launch of National Bank of Dubai (NBD)'s Visa Classic Credit Card.
The new Visa Classic Card from NBD offers customers a 1.75 percent interest rate with no annual fee for the first year, while the interest rate for NBD customers has been fixed at 1.25 percent, he said – Albawaba.com
