Oasis International Leasing Company, PJSC has announced the appointment of Erik Dahmen as Senior Marketing Director. Dahmen will be based in Spain and be responsible for business development in Europe, Asia and the MENA region.
Dahmen is a specialist in aviation leasing and finance. This appointment marks his return to Oasis, after a two-year stint in Europe as Managing Director, Europe and the Middle East for aircraft leasing company BCI.
Oasis Leasing CEO Gordon Dixon said Dahmen’s appointment demonstrates the company’s intention to strengthen its presence in aviation markets that are expected to expand in the near future. He noted the pending acquisition decisions that are facing many European carriers with fleets of older aircraft and noted that the CIS nations in particular represent prime example of an aviation market that is poised for substantial growth.
Dixon said Dahmen’s appointment will give Oasis Leasing a key advantage in expanding the company’s business and further diversifying the company’s extensive portfolio of aviation investments.
