According to Reuters, an Iranian official has denied Iranian airstrikes on ISIL in Iraq. “Iran has never been involved in any airstrikes against the Daesh (ISIL) targets in Iraq. Any cooperation in such strikes with America is also out of question for Iran," stated an anonymous senior official.
This claim contradicts the Wednesday Pentagon report of Iranian airstrikes on ISIL. The U.S. has been launching strikes in Iraq since August.
