The price of oil opened below 26 dollars a barrel in London on Thursday for the first time for seven months after Iraq began shipping oil after a break of 12 days.
Reference Brent crude for January delivery was selling for 25.75 dollars a barrel here, from 25.15 dollars a barrel at the close on Wednesday.
Prices had brushed 25 dollars a barrel in the previous session after Iraq began shipping oil from its port at Mina al-Bakr after agreeing an extension of its oil-for-food deal with the United Nations -- LONDON (AFP)
