Iran’s President Mohammed Khatami has received a written message from Oman’s Sultan Qaboos.
The message was handed over to Khatami by Abdulaziz Al-Rwass, the Omani special envoy, during a meeting in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Monday.
In the meantime, Khatami stressed the existing deep-rooted Omani-Iranian relations, and said the two countries are capable of playing a distinguished role in strengthening the pillars of security and stability in the region, according to SPA news agency.
In addition, Khatami hailed the Omani foreign policy, and said Oman and Iran should work to develop and to further enrich their relations. (Albawaba.com)
