Oman’s Sultan Qaboos and Austrian President Thomas Klestil held talks Saturday in Muscat that focused on strengthening bilateral ties in all fields, reported the Oman Observer newspaper.
Klestil arrived in Oman on Saturday for a three-day official visit during which he will hold talks with senior Omani officials.
“His Majesty and President Klestil reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways of enhancing co-operation in political, economic and cultural spheres with a view to opening up wider horizons of friendship,” a statement said.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, including the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, it added – Albawaba.com
