Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad al Khalili, left Oman Monday with an accompanying delegation on his way to Lebanon to take part in the third meeting of the Council of Trustees of World Union for Muslim Scholars and a meeting of the executive office which will be held in Beirut between May 10 to 13, Oman News Agency reported.
Sheikh Al Khalili was seen off with his delegation at the airport by Sayyid Harib bin Hamad bin Saud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, the Lebanese ambassador to the Sultanate and other top ministry officials.
