Indonesian president Abdul-Rahman Wahid arrived on Saturday in Oman for talks with Sultan Qaboos bin Sa'eed, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
An Omani diplomatic source told KUNA that the two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern including the situation in south East Asia and the Indian continent as well as the Middle East peace process.
He added that the two sides also discussed means of fostering bilateral relations in the trade and economic spheres, added KUNA.
Last year, Oman suffered a deficit in the trade exchange with Indonesia, according to the agency - Albawaba.com
