Ahmed bin Abdul-Nabi Macki, Oman's Minister of National Economy and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council has said the Sultanate's population is 2,331,391, of whom, 1,779,318 are Omanis and 552,073 are expatriates. According to ONA, Macki added that the number of houses is 413,406 and the number of families is 327,864.
