A three member delegation from Majlis Al Shura, left Muscat Sunday for China to participate in the third meeting of the General Assembly of the Asian Parliamentary Union which is to be held between April 16-19 to discuss peace, according to Oman News Agency.
The delegation is headed by Saleh bin Salim al Gaafri, Head of Public Awareness and Environment Committee and consists of Saad bin Mohammed al Sadi and Mahmoud bin Muhana al Kharousi, members of the Majlis.
Al Gaafri stated that the Majlis participation stresses its keenness to exchange experience and information with the parliaments especially on development. He added that the meeting would review world peace, economic globalization and other issues. (Albawaba.com)
