Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Telecommunications Company and a telecom force in the Gulf and MENA region is conducting a two week training course for thirteen Omantel engineers and managers.
The Fibre Optic Cable Contract Supervision programme has been tailor made by Batelco Training Centre in line with Omantel’s standards and to suit their specified needs. The course follows a successful series of Planning and Design courses held for Omantel staff in March and April of this year.
Batelco Training Officers Catriona Shaw and S. Hasan Mousawi are delivering the training programme, assisted by Senior Officer Access Network Ebrahim Salim.
“As an innovative telecommunications company, we are well placed to offer Omantel the training and support they require,” said Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
“In addition, Batelco will benefit from the exchange of experience and expertise gained through this collaboration with Omantel,” he added.
Omantel Director Projects and Implementation Ahmed Mohammed Al Nasri said that it is a pleasure to be with Batelco, as its Training Centre is one of the most organized with excellent instructors and training facilities.
“We were glad to expose our supervisory team to the techniques and standards adopted by Batelco in the Access Network, combining knowledge, skills and best practices,” added Omantel Section Head of Implementation and Projects Faisal Sarhan Al Alawi.
