International Automotive Paint re-finishing Company OMIA who chose Bahrain as the base for its Middle East, India and Pakistan Operations, recently announced the appointment of Abdulla Yousif Fakhro and Sons as their partners to manage the regional hub for OMIA paint and refinishing products for the Middle East, India and Pakistan. The agreement was recently signed between both parties in Bahrain. Present on this triumphant occasion were, Mohammed Fakhro (Business Development Director - AYFS), Jacob Thomas (General Manager-Trading Division - AYFS), Timothy Leese (General Manager-Automotive Division - AYFS), Vilas Deshmukh (Marketing Manager – AYFS) and Kennith Webb (Senior Commercial Export Executive-OMIA). On the appointment Mr Mohammed Fakhro shared how delighted he was with the appointment and confirmed that this deal was a true testament to the way how Abdulla Yousif Fakhro and Sons have grown from strength to strength over the years. Mr Fakhro said, “This is an important milestone for AYFS and we are pleased that OMIA have recognized that our company has strong social ties and long standing business relationships with key partners. We are delighted that after an extensive selection process we have been appointed as their partners for the regional hub in Bahrain”. OMIA originated in 1947 and based in France, has more than 50 years of technological expertise in the process of paint application and is the preferred supplier for paint booths, preparation bays and other re-finishing products for all the key international automotive manufacturers. OMIA has agreements with all the major automotive manufacturers to supply products to their sales and service networks.   OMIA offer the following for paint and bodyshop: Spray painting booths, Mixing rooms, All types of ovens, Preparation bays, Infra red dryers, mobile or gantry types, Scissor lifts, Dry sanding dust extraction can compactors, Cardboard and paint can compactors and Manual or automatic spray gun cleaners.
