Masked gunmen attacked police headquarters in the al-Qatif region of Saudi Arabia, early Tuesday morning. One solider was killed at the scene.
Witnesses describe a car pulling up close to the station and two men getting out, before shooting at soldiers guarding the station gate, killing one of them.
Soldiers fired back but the assailants fled the scene.
An official statement has yet to be released.
