One2Call to provide telephone interpretation PA and Concierge services to VIPs and guests of Beijing 2008 Olympic sponsors.

SmartTrans the Australian logistics company has appointed One2Call to provide telephone interpretation, Personal Assistants and Concierge services for the users of EventTrack®, an advanced Australian technology which will be used by major Olympic sponsors to aid in the transport, management and safety of people during the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

SmartTrans’s (ASX:SMA) EventTrack is the world’s only system specifically designed to manage the unique and challenging requirements of VIP transport and human logistics at major events such as the Olympics.  Building on the success of its use during the Sydney Olympics, EventTrack 2008 is being rolled out to manage the complex scheduling and transport requirements of guests and personnel during Games-time.

The EventTrack PDAs will have a direct dial button to the One2Call call center, where bi-lingual consultants will be available 24/7 to help the users with any of their requests or inquiries. The One2Call consultants are supported by a proprietary search engine and database of merchants which took 3 years to develop. The database covers the 15 main cities in China with over 20.000 up-market and internationally oriented merchants. Included in the many details are merchant reviews and their longitude and latitude to allow for detailed proximity based searches for customers on the phone.

“We are thrilled to have been selected by SmartTrans to provide our services to such important and discerning visitors to China” says Mr. Jim van Drunen Littel, Founder and CEO of One2Call, ” we see this as recognition that our team is able to provide international standard service levels”.

Mr. Anton Hazewinkel, COO of One2Call goes on to say; “gaining international recognition for the years of staff training and the building of the database is of immense motivational value to our Chinese staff. Having already helped thousands of foreigners overcome language challenges, they are looking forward to helping C-level executives during the Olympics”.
