open skies print run exceeds 60,000 copies for september 2007
Emirates' record-breaking success story continued this month with the announcement that its Award winning in-flight monthly magazine Open Skies has confirmed its highest print run ever. A total of 61,490 copies of the September 2007 issue will be distributed to Emirates passengers on board all First, Business and Economy class flights - representing a combined readership of more than 2 million people.
Published since 1985, Open Skies’ increased print run reflects the phenomenal growth of the airline in recent times. For more than 20 years, Motivate Publishing has produced Open Skies for Emirates and this year the company signed a further 5-year contract to continue publishing the prestigious title which can be on board more than 105 Emirates aircraft, spanning the globe to reach 92 destinations in 59 countries.
Group Editor and Managing Partner of Motivate Publishing, Ian Fairservice said “The in-flight magazine for Emirates Airline was our first contract magazine and has always been our most important - the phenomenal growth of the airline puts us in a stronger position than ever to provide publishing services to match Emirates’ globalization plans.”
Motivate publish three magazines for Emirates Airline, all of which have a qualified audited circulation. Open Skies at 56,327 copies has the highest audited monthly magazine circulation in the region.
