Downtown Beirut witnessed an exceptional fashion event on Friday evening 16th April 2010: the official opening of Designer's Entourage.
It is a place worthy of being branded as a showroom rather than a store, because it offers a new concept of displaying luxury clothing and jewelry based on a philosophy aiming at putting ahead the value and aesthetic design of each item on display.
On Friday, many people met in the showroom situated in Saifi Village, the stylish residential and commercial small district in the heart of Beirut. Dignitaries and people from different walks of life connected by their love for fashion and luxury, celebrated the occasion with the owners Mr Neiman Azzi and Mrs Ghena Hariri, and with most of the internationally renowned designers who trusted Designer’s Entourage with their work and who came to Lebanon to take part in the opening and talk with visitors and the media.
It was a good opportunity to meet with French fashion designer Mina Poe, who designs hand-made women clothing only, and who gave the boutique the exclusive privilege to display her first children collection.
The numerous guests – who enjoyed live music – met also Italian jewelry designer Maria D'avossa who is known to brilliantly deal with precious stones to create masterpieces. It is interesting to note that she never displays her works outside of Italy, but Designer's Entourage is an exception - and a big one for that matter.
The jewels of famous Azza Fahmy blended well with the interior of the showroom which bears the touches of various Lebanese craftsmen, thanks to their oriental spirit.
The young Greek jeweler Nikos Koulis talked to the many interested visitors about his creations which reflect his great talent. Whereas Italian designer Luca Litrico was explaining the secrets of creating the best men suits in the world, backed by background photos depicting many famous men trusting their elegance to Litrico, the famous tailors for men.

Refreshingly designed and executed dresses and other garments came from Galerie MN. Designer Maria Napolitano was there to talk about them.
The guests saw all this and more, enjoying as well the captivating scent of Tzarina, the rare perfume produced by Russian designer Ella Krasner.
It was an evening to remember. An evening of beauty in a place that embraces elegance, luxury and good taste.
Designer’s Entourage is for fashion lovers the place to be.
