Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, a leading regional Value Added Distributor (VAD) of IT and telecommunications products, today announced that its recently held workshop, ‘Fast Track For Avaya’, was a success. The workshop, which has held in Dubai from April 18-20, 2010, saw the attendees receive the Avaya Professional Sales Specialist (APSS) certification at the end of the three-day workshop.
The ‘Fast Track For Avaya’ workshop, conducted by Optimus’ Business Partner Enablement team, was a training programme, which provided participants in-depth insight into Avaya’s product range and enhanced their abilities to create basic solution designs. Optimus also held the Avaya Professional Sales Specialist (APSS) examination at the end of the workshop for participants to qualify for the APSS certification, which is a mandatory requirement for Avaya partners.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Nehul Goradia, Manager – Channel & Partner Enablement, Optimus Technology and Telecommunications said, “We are happy we were able to conduct such an intensive training workshop for our Avaya partners. When we announced this event, we received tremendous response from our partners and were not able to accommodate every request since the seats were limited. The participants were trained by experts on Avaya’s product range, sales, design and support and received the APSS certification. Looking at the success of this event, we are planning to hold more such workshops across the region to accommodate our partners from other countries as well.”
