Russian- Arab Business Council to Discuss Investment Opportunities!
Over 100 key Arab and Russian economic personalities are expected to participate in the seventh Arab-Russian Business Council, which is taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 21-22 May 2007 at the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel. The Forum is being organized by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in collaboration with the General Union for Arab Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Arab-Russian Business Council.
The Forum agenda comprises several key topics and discussions which centre around strengthening Arab-Russian economic and trade ties, and the investment opportunities available to both. Discussions will also take place on the establishment of an Arab-Russian bank in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The first day's agenda comprises several topics which honour Arab-Russian cooperation in terms of industrial and technological advances; Arab-Russian cooperation in the oil and energy sectors, metal manufacturing and metallic resources; insurance, the financial securities market and the Stock Exchange, IPOs, investment and financial cooperation; tourism, transportation, conferences and exhibitions; agriculture and water treatment, and environmental protection.
The second day agenda will include: the inaugural meeting for creating a Bahraini-Russian Business Council; the sixth meeting for the Russian-Saudi Business Council; the second meeting for the Russian-Egyptian Business Council; the sixth meeting for the Russian-Lebanese Business Council; the first meeting for the Russian-Jordanian Business Council; the second meeting for the Russian-Omani Business Council; the third meeting for the Russian-Emirati Business Council; the second meeting for the Russian-Tunisian Business Council; the second meeting for the Russian-Yemeni Business Council; the second meeting for the Russian-Qatari Business Council; the third meeting for the Russian-Sudanese Business Council; and the sixth meeting for the Russian-Saudi Business Council.
Speaking and leading discussions at the Forum will be: H.E.
