Over 100 children with special needs and their families visited Dubai Dolphinarium recently to watch the Live Dolphin and Seal Show and the Water Magic Show as part of Special Needs Day at the facility.

The children, from the Special Families Support Group (SFS) and the Dubai Club for Special Sports, were entertained by a performance of the Dolphinarium's beloved aquatic mammals, the dolphins and seals, and their human counterparts – skilled air acrobats from Ukraine.

"SFS was thrilled to see the Dolphin and Seal Show at Dubai Dolphinarium. The staff made everyone feel very welcome, and the kids were glued to the show," said Gulshan Kavarana, founder of SFS. "Our children don't have too many wants, all they wish for is to feel loved, respected and accepted for who they are. Thank you for organizing such an awesome day for all of us at SFS."

Majid Abdullah Alawsaimi, Executive Manager of Dubai Club for Special Sports said: "Both the boys and the girls enjoyed the Water Magic Show very much. The members of the Club appreciate Dubai Dolphinarium's continuous support for children with special needs."

The Special Needs Day is part of an effort by Dubai Dolphinarium to contribute to the local community and to give children with special needs and their families a fantastic opportunity to meet one of the world's friendliest and most intelligent mammals, the dolphins.
