Palestinian Authority has closed down Saturday a private television station and arrested its director Samir Qumsayeh, reported BBC.online.
It said no reasons were given for the clampdown on the Al-Mahed station -- the third closure on a West Bank broadcasting outlet in four days.
An employee of the Voice Of Palestine radio station, Fathi Barkawi, was reported to have been released on Friday after being held by the security forces for six days, added BBC.
