Palazzo Versace brand in worldwide demand
The Palazzo Versace brand has reached new heights in worldwide property demand with the property developer behind the hotels, Emirates Sunland Group, announcing its Dubai-based resort is almost completely sold. In addition Palazzo Versace Gold Coast recently received the prestigious award of Best Australian Luxury Hotel 2008 by Australian Gourmet Traveller Magazine.
Palazzo Versace Dubai has sold more than 80 per cent of the development with only 20 condominiums remaining. Within six months, Emirates Sunland has sold a total gross worth of AED 1.6 billion (£223 million/ AU$464 million). The balance of the condominiums will be held until closer to completion of the project.
Receiving a prestigious Australian tourism award on the back of the Dubai resort’s sales success was icing on the cake for Sunland and proved that despite market conditions, demand for opulence still remains high. Palazzo Versace Gold Coast opened in 2000 and has frequently attracted Hollywood movie stars and royalty among its guests.
The Australian Gourmet Traveller awards, held in Sydney in early June, recognises the pioneers, visionaries and champions of the Australian tourism industry and winners are voted for by readers of the Gourmet Traveller magazine.
Sunland Group Founder and Managing Director Soheil Abedian comments: “To receive such positive support for our Palazzo Versace products from two very different markets in opposite corners of the world is quite a proud achievement for the Sunland Group. What the award and sales success story shows is that the quality of our products speaks for itself. We have witnessed an outstanding demand for high quality, ultra exclusive developments by both those looking to buy or live the lifestyle of the Palazzo Versace brand. What is encouraging is that this demand has not wavered since we launched our Gold Coast development, and in fact it has increased over time. Demand for Palazzo Versace has gained even more momentum since we unveiled the Dubai resort.”
