Palestine Music Festival Meets Denmark

Next month will mark the first ever Palestinian Music Festival, which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, according to ‘Al Khaleej’ newspaper. 

The UAE based publication said that president of the festival; Walid Al Jamal, said “we strive to make this festival an annual event in which Palestinians and Arabs will actively participate.” 

“We also aim to promote Palestinian culture, especially Palestinian singers,” he added. 

Jamal also said “various Palestinian groups will participate in this year’s festival, presenting all forms of the seven arts. We will also be proud to have Amir Hamama and Nivine Ahmad from Paris in this years festival,” he added. 

According to Jamal, the Arab Cultural Institution has established various festivals, including the ‘Falasteeny’ (Palestinian) Festival in 1998, in which Reem Bana performed and the ‘Haq El Awda’ (Right of Return) Festival, which featured Abu Arab - Albawaba.com.
