Nine people were injured and 33 were arrested by the Palestinian police after a family dispute erupted in the al-Jalama town in northern Jenin early Saturday.
A statement by the public relations department of the police said that the police received a call from locals about a family dispute before police vehicles rushed to the area.
The police arrested 33 people who used truncheons, bludgeons and rocks in the fight.
The statement added that 9 people were injured during the dispute. Most injuries were reported between medium and light while one was injured with a live bullet in the stomach and was admitted to a hospital for treatment where his injury was reported as medium.
