Medical sources said Tuesday that a Palestinian was killed and another injured in the Gaza Strip city of Khanyounis. Medical sources added that Musalam al-Najjar 22, of Bani Suheila town was killed over night of a device explosion, WAFA reported.

In the meantime, witnesses said that a group of armed Palestinians stormed and occupied the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) and Ministry of Prisoners Affairs in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

Witnesses said that most of the men were released prisoners from Israeli jails and demanded the PA to offer them with job opportunities.

Earlier, on Monday night, the house of the Palestinian Attorney General, Hussein Abu Assi, was hit in Gaza, with a hand grenade, according to witnesses. According to RNA, the house was damaged and police vehicles rushed to the scene and combed the area.

In Israel, police limited attendance at an evening "anti-disengagement" rally in the Negev town of Sderot to no more than 5,000 people. According to Haaretz, the settlement movement and the police were at odds Tuesday over the mass anti-disengagement protest, with settlers renewing their vow that tens of thousands of marchers would ultimately reach the Gaza Strip settlements.
