The Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Nabil Shaath, has termed the proposal presented by Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, "an integral element in the peace process in the Middle East."

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency Saturday, he said that the Saudi proposal was very convincing and that the entry of Saudis in the peace process was very useful in all respects.

Shaath added that the Saudi proposal, which was adapted by the Arab League, constitutes the only new positive factor in the Middle East issue and that the Palestinians appreciate it.

He further noted that the Saudi Kingdom spends lots of money to support the peace process in the region. He also thanked Riyadh for its financial and political contributions to the peace process. (Albawaba.com)
