A Palestinian policeman was shot dead and six people including policemen were wounded Monday as Israeli troops opened fire on a police checkpoint in the Gaza Strip, reported AFP.
Al Jazira satellite channel said that the policeman’s name is Misbah Ma’touq, a First Sergeant.
Earlier in the day, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy was declared clinically dead after he was shot with a live round in Hebron clashes.
