United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, received in Geneva Monday a letter from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, briefing him on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian lands, including the appalling conditions created by the Israeli blockade.
The letter, which also focused on efforts being exerted to revive the peace process, was delivered to Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of Guest House and Protocol Department, by Nabil Al Ramlawi, Permanent Palestinian representative to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, according to the Emirates News Agency.
