A Palestinian was shot dead near Ramallah after allegedly attacking an Israeli soldier and settler near the illegal Adam settlement in the Ramallah district.
The unidentified suspect reportedly stabbed a settler in the neck near the settlement and was shot dead by Israeli forces, Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld said.
A second suspect was detained at the scene and the area was closed off, he added.
The 19-year-old settler was reportedly seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect also stabbed a female Israeli soldier before being shot dead, Israeli media reported.
An Israeli army spokesperson could not confirm whether a settler or soldier was critically wounded.
