A Palestinian was shot dead by an Israeli bullet in the West Bank town of Tulkarem on Wednesday, bringing to 100 the number killed in two weeks of unrest.
Hospital officials said Sami Hussein Salamah, 17, was shot in the heart during an incident near an Israeli army post, but further details were not immediately available.
Sporadic clashes broke out in some parts of the West Bank on Wednesday even amid a frenzy of diplomatic activity to try to break the spiral of violence that has raged in the Palestinian territories for two weeks -- TULKAREM, West Bank(AFP)
