Palestinian officials said that a woman settler attacked two officials of the Waqf Islamic Trust in Hebron Monday, reported Haaretz newspaper, quoting the radio.
The report said that the woman managed to flee the scene after the attack, adding that the officials were not hurt in the attack.
The paper added that several Jewish women tried to enter the market in the town [known to Israelis as casbah], but the soldiers held them back.
Meanwhile, the paper said that Palestinian gunmen and Israeli troops traded gunfire near a Jewish settlement in Hebron, but there were no injuries.
In the West Bank city of Tulkarem, the Jerusalem Post newspaper reported that
Palestinian gunmen fired a volley of bullets at a bus carrying Israeli soldiers.
