Israeli security forces kidnapped on Tuesday a member of the Palestinian Presidential Guards Unit, Force 17, in the West Bank city of Hebron, Palestinian sources told Israel's Army Radio.
The abduction took place within an area controlled by the PA, according to the sources, quoted by the Jerusalem Post.
The sources said that the man was the bodyguard of the head of Force 17 in Hebron, Abdullah Salam.
Salam had been the “original target of an [Israeli army] liquidation attempt,” they said.
