Palestinians wounded in Israeli missile attack on car in Gaza Strip

The sound of an explosion was heard Tuesday near the town of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and Palestinian security officials said Israel Air Force helicopters fired a missile at a car carrying Hamas fighters. The officials said the driver escaped unharmed.

Some passers-by reportedly suffered minor wounds in the incident.

 

Palestinian security sources said the Hamas men were apparently en route to staging an attack on part of the Gush Katif settlement bloc nearby.

 

Meanwhile, in the West Bank city of Nablus, at least two Palestinians wounded by Israeli fire.
