As part of its ongoing commitment to educate parents on the importance of baby’s different stages of development, the Pampers ‘Let’s Grow’ train embarked on its next journey to Saudi to spread awareness among parents on the key milestones of a child’s growth in the early stages of life.

The ‘Let’s Grow’ train, which is part of an awareness campaign that was launched by Pampers last year, is back again to continue the education process of helping parents see the world through their baby’s eyes to get a better understanding of their growth needs and to learn ways to enhance it.

Oversized furniture and household items are on display within each unit of the train for parents to comprehend and see the world from a baby’s eyes. By experiencing the baby’s perspective, parents become more effective in understanding their baby’s behaviour thus developing more efficient methods in dealing with their children and helping them with their emotional and developmental needs.

Getting to see the world as a baby sees it, also makes parents get a better insight on the difficulties a baby faces in accomplishing simple tasks that adults often take for granted such as standing, walking, sitting and holding objects. By knowing a baby’s needs at each stage, parents are thus able to assist them in providing an enriching environment to have a well-balanced growth.

The train consists of three compartments each representing the three distinct stages of a child’s journey of growth in the early months. In it’s first stop, the train was stationed at Aziz Mall, Jeddah from November 15th to December 5th. It has then moved to Dhahran Mall on December 10th and will be stationed there till January 10th.

“We at Pampers believe in caring for your baby’s development and through this initiative we wanted to reach out to all parents and spread the message of understanding their baby’s development needs and help them nurture and develop these through interactive play. It is in line with our philosophy of creating, inspiring and delivering products and services that can help a baby’s growth in every stage.  We are very delighted with the overwhelming response received from visitors and the high level of interest shown by the Saudi residents has been extremely encouraging and inspiring for us to take this project to the next level by aiming to take the train across to other markets in the near future,” said Karim Kamel, Pampers Brand Manager – Arabian Peninsula.

He added, “The success of the campaign rests on the fun approach that makes it unique and appealing to parents. The three stages of development correspond with the diaper ranges from Pampers: Pampers New Baby, Pampers Active Baby and Pampers Lets Go, each of which have been specifically designed to meet the needs of a baby at different stages, from newborn to toddler. Most parents want to know what they can do to maximize their child’s development and how they can help their baby achieve every little milestone in their life and we at Pampers wanted to help those parents by sharing our knowledge and expertise in the field. This is the prime objective that drove us to launch the ‘Let’s Grow’ campaign. ”

By experiencing a toddler’s perspective of the world, parents become more effective in understanding their child’s behaviour and thus become more adept in dealing with their child’s emotional and developmental needs. A baby’s development can be a challenging experience for both new and experienced parents but Pampers is on hand to help Saudi families understand the changes their baby will go through, support its development more effectively and ultimately create a more enjoyable experience for both parent and child.
