Lufthansa is one of the most popular employers worldwide – and there are good reasons for that: one of them is the high level of flexibility. Especially with respect to part-time models, the largest German airline has quite a lot to offer: 24,259 of all its employees work part-time. The part-time quota at Lufthansa thus amounts to 25.7 percent.
Especially in the business area of passenger transport, the theme of part-time work is very topical: in the cabin there are 38 different part-time models. With a total of around 14,000 employees that represents a part-time quota of 50 to 55 percent. Among the ground employees the part-time quota with around 9,500 employees lies between 45 and 55 percent. Fantastic: more than 1,500 models are offered and implemented in this area. Lufthansa is thus an attractive and popular employer especially among women.
And in another area Lufthansa sets other companies a good example: 41.3 percent or 39,212 of the total of 94,510 Lufthansa employees worldwide are women. Their male counterparts with 55,298 employees, in other words 58.7 percent of the total, are only just in the majority.
Lufthansa is one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious airlines. Also, renowned as the World’s favorite International Airline, Lufthansa successfully owns a fleet of 390 aircrafts and is among the world’s top ten airlines. Lufthansa proudly is also a founding member of the Star Alliance which offers more than 15,500 daily flights to over 842 destinations in 152 countries.
