In a short period of time subsequent to the launch of DreamBody Competition the actual results are becoming apparent on those participating in the unisex event and regularly attended the exercising sessions.
The Center'sFounder and Chief Executive Officer, Suhail Algosaibi commented; "Over a very short period of time, the participants who showed full commitment to spend a 23-minute fitness session on a 3-time-visit basis weekly, have shown excellent results. The program was well tailored with scientifically disciplined trials that proved to be feasible and harmless to the participant performing the exercise". Mr. Algosaibi added: "The reason behind the success of this program lies is the fact that the hydraulic exercise machines are designed to be user-friendly in the way they imitate and interact with the trainee's body without the need to use heavy dumbbells or other exercise machines. Further, the participant does not have to go through warming-up sessions, wasting almost 20 minutes as in traditional exercises. The program is overseen by both Bahrainis and expatriates with proven track records of success".
It is worth mentioning that the competition is run in the DreamBody Center locations in the Seef Area and Hamala three times a year. The first competition started in April and will finish at the end of next June with the exercising session lasting for 23 minutes only. Each winner is presented with a thousand and one Bahraini Dinars with the first winner being awarded a car as the grand prize at the year end; the car is a Toyota Fortuner presented by Mr. Algosaibi.
Research indicates that a great deal of the GCC population is affected by diabetes and diabetes-related diseases such as hypertension and joint pains. This requires the public and private sectors efforts to work jointly to come up with guidelines and effective solutions like mass awareness and educational health programs. Citizens, despite their age groups, are requested to change their eating habits and should introduce regular exercise to their life styles.
