Exports from the Philippines to UAE increased 23.16 percent, reaching 78.92 million dollars in 2000, reported the Emirati News Agency (WAM).
Garments were the top earners at 21.04 million dollars, rising by 30.84 percent, while food products ranked second at 20.32 million dollars, up by 8.83 percent, said the agency, quoting a statement by the Filipino embassy in Abu Dhabi.
