Bahrain's Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received on Monday the Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and her accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the Prime Minister praised the cordial ties linking the two countries, stressing the importance of this visit in strengthening cooperation, BNA reported.
The Premier also hailed the role of the Filipino community in Bahrain's developmental and construction projects. For her part, the Philippines President expressed gratitude and appreciation for the warm hospitality and reception, received by King Hamad and the Prime Minister, during the visit. President Arroyo also praised the joint cooperation between the two countries, and said this visit will further enhance the various fields of cooperation.
