Within the framework of the “the Second International Meetings of Poetry of Marrakech”, the French Institute of Marrakech organized a poetry contest in conjunction with RAM (Royal Air Maroc), which will take place between March 16 and March 19.
Emarrakech reports that the contest will have the theme of “voyage” and is open to young Moroccans aged between 13 and 25 years.
The jury will consist of several famous poets, a representative of RAM and a representative of the French Institute of Marrakech. The prize for the best poem is an international ticket that will be offered by the RAM and the prize for the second best poem is free membership to the French Institute of Marrakech and invitations for its activities during the year 2005.
