A Jordanian police officer was shot during a high-speed chase in Amman, reported the Jordan Times on Sunday.
Police sources said that the officer and his partner spotted a car in the area of Abu Nuseir whose description matched a wanted list.
They said the officers tried to stop the vehicle, which was carrying several passengers, but the driver did not stop.
During the chase, the people in the car started shooting at the police patrol, and one of the officers was wounded – Albawaba.com
