A political analyst believes certain Western powers are paving the way for Israel to commit atrocities against the Palestinian nation.
“Britain and the United States in particular are very good at squashing any kind of action from the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) at the UN Security Council” against Israel, James Thring said on Thursday.
“We (the West) have been giving the Israelis all the rights or justifications that they demand. We give them all the attention. We don’t report when they commit atrocities and crimes against Palestinians,” the peace advocate and political commentator noted.
Addressing the ministerial meeting of NAM in the Azeri capital Baku on Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif slammed Israel as the “main threat” to the world’s security, calling for an international probe into the regime’s atrocities against Palestinians.
