Syrian President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad left Riyadh on Sunday evening following a brief visit to Saudi Arabia, SPA said.
During his short stay, the Syrian leader held talks with Saudi King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the deputy premier and commander of the national guard.
President Al-Assad was seen off at Riyadh airbase by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the deputy premier and commander of the national guard, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the second deputy premier, minister of defense and aviation and inspector general, Prince Metib bin Abdulaziz, the minister of public works and housing, Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the president of general intelligence, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Riyadh region, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the foreign minister, as well as other princes and high-ranking officials.
