Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received a delegation of the U.S. Congress headed by Mr. James Colby. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the Syrian-American relations and the general situation in the region, particularly in Iraq.
