President Jacques Chirac arrived Thursday to Algiers for a working visit to Algeria. He was greeted at Houari Boumediene international airport by his Algerian peer, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, accompanied by several top officials in the state.
Talks between the two leaders will be centred on "bilateral relations, the promotion of political and economic partnership between the two countries in addition to the principal international questions of common interest."
